Refund and Returns Policy

Cancellation, Returns and Refunds Policy

Status

DRAFT FOR APPROVAL | 1 November 2026 | Proposed conditions, not approved company policy. Publish only after management approves the commercial rules and any applicable legal review.

1. Coverage and seller

This policy describes cancellation, return and refund handling for services and any goods sold on malriffaie.com by ALRIFFAIE CONSULTANCY (CR 133228-1). Each separately licensed merchant must be identified clearly and use its own approved policy or expressly agree to one consolidated policy. The customer’s mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

2. How to request a cancellation or refund

Email info@malriffaie.com with the customer name, booking/order reference, service purchased, payment date and reason for request. We will acknowledge the request, investigate the work status, explain the decision and communicate any approved refund with supporting transaction information. Do not publish a fixed processing turnaround until finance and the payment gateway confirm it.

3. Paid appointments and consultations – proposed rule

A request made before a confirmed consultation starts may be eligible for rescheduling or a refund, subject to a clearly displayed advance-notice period approved by management. Once the consultation has been delivered, the service fee is not ordinarily refundable merely because the customer no longer wishes to use the advice, but non-delivery, error or mandatory customer rights must be handled fairly. No-show and late-cancellation charges must be disclosed before booking; absent an agreed rule, do not automatically deduct them.

4. Custom services – proposed rule

Feasibility studies, business plans, research, agreements, marketing strategies, documentation and other custom deliverables are generally commissioned individually. Before work starts, management should approve whether a full refund is offered and whether any unavoidable, expressly agreed third-party costs are excluded. After work has begun, the company may propose payment for demonstrable completed milestones or work authorised by the customer, with the unearned balance refunded where appropriate and permitted by law. Never impose undisclosed penalties or arbitrary non-refundable percentages.

5. Digital documents or completed deliverables

The sale page must disclose whether the purchase concerns an instantly accessible template, a downloadable digital document, or a commissioned deliverable, and what cancellation limitations lawfully apply. If the wrong item is supplied, it is materially defective, or a paid deliverable has not been supplied as promised, the customer can report the problem and seek an appropriate remedy. Do not promise or deny a refund categorically without distinguishing the service type and mandatory law.

6. Memberships and retainer packages

Show the term, included credits/visits, commencement, renewal, notice period, cancellation, unused-service handling and any first/last month payment arrangement before checkout. Any forfeiture or minimum-term provisions need explicit contractual and legal review. Where a separate signed retainer contract applies, the relevant disclosed terms govern to the extent lawful.

7. Goods and physical returns, if later offered

The currently reviewed catalog is predominantly services. If physical goods are sold, publish product-specific information about delivery, return eligibility, item condition, defective goods, return shipping and mandatory consumer rights before allowing checkout. Do not apply a service-only refund policy to merchandise.

8. Refund method and timing

Approved refunds should ordinarily go back through the original payment method where feasible, subject to gateway rules and law. Finance must approve realistic timeframes and identify any cross-border banking implications. The refund amount and basis will be communicated to the customer. Refunds may not be replaced with store credit without a lawful basis and the customer’s necessary agreement.

9. Disputes and applicable law

Customers may raise unresolved complaints with info@malriffaie.com. The policy operates subject to the consumer protection and other mandatory laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. No provision removes a legal right relating to misrepresentation, non-delivery, defective goods or otherwise mandatory protections.

Internal decisions needed – REMOVE BEFORE PUBLICATION

Management must set advance notice for rescheduling, no-show fees, project milestone calculation, subscription cancellation rules, whether deposit or commencement fees apply, refund approval workflow, customer-support response times and expected payment gateway settlement time. Confirm whether third-party sellers need distinct policies. Do not publish as approved until these decisions are signed off.
